  • How can I get started with PayParking?
    If you're a municipality or business owner, go to the Getting Started link on our homepage where you'll follow the 4 simple steps below. Step 1. Create a user account. Go to the Admin, follow the prompts to verify your email address. Step 2. Register a payments account. After you complete Step 1, you'll be automatically redirected to a registration page. This allows your business to receive payouts for revenue generated for parking customers that use your designated parking area. We partner with Stripe to verify your identity and banking institution and secure transactional and financial services, including payment distributions to your bank and parking reservation payments made by your customers. Step 3. Once your payments account is created, you can list your parking zone on the PayParking marketplace, where it will be live to the public to book parking reservations, and can be monitored for enforcement. Within the parking zone registration form, you'll be able to select operating hours, pricing, amenities, and much more. Step 4. Order Signage to install in your parking lot from the PayParking website. To simplify the signage, we recommend including the following and will send to your email with a proof copy before we confirm the order: Hours and days in which paid parking is required. All other times are then assumed free and the parking lot is not enforced during this time. QR Code that can be scanned with a phone camera that sends the customer directly to the PayParking app for payment. The app is simple and easy to use, and does not require any download. Signs are recommended to be installed at least 60″ high measured to the bottom edge so that they are visible while vehicles are parked in a space. Signs can be on posts, or where feasible, on walls or suspended from ceilings. Access to the PayParking platform will always be free and accessible 24/7 for parking service providers and their employees.
  • Is PayParking compatible with gated entry/exit systems?
    Yes. PayParking Cloud reservation and payment services can be used with existing PARCS (Parking and revenue control systems) such as those integrated into parking garage gated entry/exit hardware. Contact our team to discuss your current gated system and to learn more on how making the switch to PayParking is a much easier process than you might assume.   • How much are the monthly subscription costs for using PayParking?
    $0. PayParking platform access including, PayParking Analytics, Admin, Payments, Enforcement, Messaging, Verify and Reports are completely free to use by parking service providers. We automatically take a small commission fee on each payment transaction to ensure we only get paid if you do. It's the only way we get paid otherwise.
  • How do you partner with Stripe and how do I get paid?
    PayParking partners with Stripe to complete financial bank account verification, payment distributions, and payment processing. Stripe is a global trusted industry leader powering online payment processing and commerce solutions for companies like Amazon, Google, Shopify, and Zoom. Your business will have access to your own Payments Dashboard, which provides a ledger of payment distributions received by your bank account and where you can setup alerts and track customer purchases. In the PayParking Admin, access the Payments Dashboard anytime to monitor your new revenue stream, gain data insights to parking transactions and receive information on when to expect your next payout distribution to your bank.
  • I successfully onboarded and my bank account was approved, what's next?
    Great job. You're almost there. Next, Go to the Admin. You'll notice the onboarding is now complete and you'll be able to setup your first listing and register it for active service. Click the Create Listing button. You'll be asked to register your location by providing details of your listing in the forms provided.
  • How can I edit details of a previously registered listing?
    Go to the Admin. You'll see a list of your active registered listings, search for the listing you'd like to edit by name, city, or zone number. Click the Edit Listing button to retrieve your listing registration form for this location where you'll be able to make and save new changes.
  • I'm not able to edit a field of a previously registered listing, can you help?
    Yes. Of course. That's why we're here. Once you register a new listing, some of the registration details become read-only without the ability to edit or change. This ensures your listing is adequately indexed when accessed through our Cloud services. You'll need to remove and re-register your listing with the correct details, which can be done within a matter of minutes.
  • What are PEOs and what do they do?
    Parking service providers with PayParking registered parking zones can add permissions for your employees and active Parking Enforcement officers (PEOs) of your municipality, business, church, public garage, and private parking lots. Officers and employees with zone permissions will be granted access to the Enforcement and Analytics Dashboards to monitor active sessions, issue citations and warnings via text messaging, and generate reports.
  • I'm a service provider with an Admin account, how do I add PEO permissions?
    Go to the Admin. You'll see a list of your active registered service zones, search for the zone you'd like to add permissions. Click the Edit Listing button to retrieve your service zone registration form. Click the Permissions tab at the top, and complete the form with your PEOs information then click Add new user. You can then easily extend the PEOs permissions to all zones if desired.
  • Can we offer rate breaks and discounts to our parking customers?
    Yes. Of course. Just add the rate breaks inside the registration form and PayParking automatically applies reduced or flat rates based on the rate break schedule. Or if you prefer, you can implement an increasing price structure with time. PayParking discount codes are not currently supported but will soon be available to platform users, please reach out to our team should you have a specific request on payment points or discounts at support@payparking.io, we'd be glad to hear from you.
  • Are business analytics available with PayParking Analytics Dashboard?
    Yes. PayParking's Analytics Dashboard is leading the parking industry's business analytics and reporting standards by providing municipalities and business owners modern Cloud data streams of real-time parking metrics, including revenue heat maps, traffic volume, active sessions overlayed on satellite imagery, by license plate and GPS location for better decision-making and staffing. Combine listings, sort by region, or hone in on a specific listing where you'll be able to monitor activity that refreshes every 10 seconds
